The focus of this project was to become more familiar with approaching design from a conceptual perspective.  This process was achieved by selecting a mechanism and applying it to a building structure within a given site in Savannah, GA.  The mechanism of choice was an auger drill because of its inherent qualities and how those qualities could be translated into building form.  Circulation, shifting, and displacement were the 3 major elements used to develop a building form.  The diagrams and illustrations below should begin to further detail the idea.
